  The marriage takes place the 25^th 06/1872. The new couple settle at mother in law's and the Doctor transfers his cabinet to the ground floor of his beautiful building. The size and the disposition of this house allow to arrange it comfortably. A splendid inside staircase,-still visible nowadays-, connects the different parts of the house and Cabinet. An independant flat on the 2nd floor makes it possible to cohabit with mother in law without any problem. Out houses and premices in the second part of the building  make it possible to lodge domesticity.

Marriage settlements let us guess that the two families are wealthy. As for the doctor, he brings home the amount of 10 000 francs in furniture, carriages, coaches & horses, as well as the amount of 20 000 francs in revenues and cash money. The bride is not in arrears, as she brings, clothes, trinkets & jewels, her piano and partitions, as well as the amount 38 000 francs from her father. Moreover, she is comfortably portioned with 42 000 francs by her mother.

So, our young couple, is now comfortably settled and secured by a sizeable amount of money of about 110 000 francs (Mercuriale of 1872). Three permanent servants help at the cabinet and householding. Then, all is well, only children are missing. They arrive next year; first the 20^th of April it is  Roger Leon. Two years later, appears a little sister, Marie Suzanne. The whole house lives rhythmed by medical examinations, pianos lessons and children shouting.
